Can you benefit by upgrading to an Ethernet network, or is DSL and Cable connectivity still sufficient to meet your business needs? Larger bandwidth becomes more and more important if you’re considering cloud computing options. Contact us to learn more.

Town of Estes Park, CO

Case Study

The Town brought Cottonwood Communications on board to assist them in implementing a new phone system and the network that would support it. We provided them advice during the development of the RFP and interviews with the vendors. We continue to support the Town today with their voice and data needs.

Ethernet implementations have changed the WAN landscape. Where point to point, frame relay and ATM networks used to rule, now Ethernet wide area networks are the way to go. QoS or Quality of Service is available over Ethernet networks and critical for those of you implementing voice (VoIP), and other applications throughout your offices. How can we assist you in determining what combination of circuits and bandwidths will meet your diverse needs?

Cloud Services

If your goals are to set up a test and development scenario or if you’re ready for production we can assist you. Many of our customers are establishing private clouds for disaster recovery, network redundancy, better and bigger storage – or to implement customized solutions. If you’ve begun to virtualize you’re now ready for the cloud. It’s about delivering on demand COMPUTING and STORAGE resources so that you can focus on your critical business applications.

About Us

Cottonwood Communications is a full service telecommunications and IT consulting firm. We work with businesses and local government entities nationwide to analyze and improve the cloud services, telecommunications, Internet and WAN services they use each day. We provide an unbiased opinion and are “carrier neutral”. Whenever possible we offer our customers a choice of at least two solutions in every proposal. We feel you are entitled to choices so we let you pick which option is right for you.

Different from many consultants we rarely bill you directly. Only in certain one-off situations do we ever send out a bill. Once you or your company elects to move forward with a solution, we are compensated by the carrier/provider for placing orders on your behalf. Because of our multiple carrier/provider relationships, and our desire to get you the very best deal available, Cottonwood Communications can often get your business a better price than if you went directly to the carrier/provider yourself. We know the industry well and will guide you through the choices available to find exactly what you’re looking for.

So whether you are shopping for a private or public cloud provider for DevOps, and on demand computing, a new colocation center or looking to connect your 20 offices together with a new ethernet network – partnering with us makes great business sense. Establishing these necessary services for your business can be confusing and very time consuming. Let Cottonwood Communications and our partners help you. Shortcuts in life are key to being successful, let us be your shortcut.
